The first run of <a href=\"https:\/\/highclassmax.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Max Webster: High Class<\/a> sold out within a short time of its release, and he is currently working on a second edition containing amazing new content, including images from Kim Mitchell&#8217;s own archives. <span>Bob has been credited in no less than a dozen other publications and musical releases for anything from fact-checking to photo archivist.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A multi-instrumentalist, his musical career highlights include playing with Classic Albums Live, performing on Canadian Idol, and being personally selected by Dr. Brian May of Queen to play guitar in the &#8220;We Will Rock You&#8221; musical &#8211; twice. Either solo or with bands, he has appeared on the bill with artists like Tony Levin (King Crimson, Peter Gabriel), The Darkness and Honeymoon Suite. Born and raised in Oshawa, he was fascinated by The Garys [Topp and Gold] who took music promotions to another level. He promoted his first show in Ottawa and hasn\u2019t stopped since.<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong><strong>You probably recognize Lou\u2019s name from being the co-owner of Hamilton\u2019s infamous Live Music Venue, This Ain\u2019t Hollywood (2009 \u2013 2020). \u201cThe Saint\u201d hosted a myriad of concerts &#8211; bringing national and international acts to the Steel City. They also nurtured the local talent and gave many hometown acts a stage to perfect their craft.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The other side of the coin sees Lou as a Hamilton radio personality. He has hosted his award-winning radio show, Lou\u2019s Control (a spin on Lose Control) since 1998. You can hear his program Wednesdays on 93.3 CFMU FM \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/cfmu.ca\">cfmu.ca<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Currently, Lou teaches Talent Buying &amp; Venue Management at Durham College and the Harris Institute for Music.
